1. Who we are

Swing Trader is operated by Jason Meredith (jgmeredith.com).

2. What we may collect

• Account credentials — username and password for authorized login (password handled via environment configuration on the server).
• Session cookie — a signed httpOnly cookie to keep you logged in.
• Technical logs — basic request metadata (e.g. IP used for login rate limiting).
• App data you create — favorites and option trade journal entries stored for the service.
• Market data — stock and options data fetched from third-party providers (e.g. Massive / Polygon); governed by those providers’ terms as well.

3. How we use information

To operate the screener, authenticate authorized users, improve reliability and security, and (in the future) support accounts or billing if those features launch.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by hosting and market-data vendors solely to run the service.

5. Cookies

Essential session cookies are used for login. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Retention & security

Access is restricted; credentials and secrets are kept in server environment configuration. Retention practices will be detailed when multi-user accounts launch.
